Botswana Red Cross Society Conducts Emblem Use and Protection Training
The Red Cross, Red Crescent and Red Crystal stand as universal symbols of hope, protection and humanity — symbols that must be respected, defended and never misused.
Botswana Red Cross Society conducted an Emblem Use and Protection Training for volunteers in the Gaborone catchment area (Kanye, Gaborone, Lentsweletau, Bokaa, Moshupa, Artesia, Kopong, Malotwana and Molepolole) as well as training for volunteers in Francistown area (Tsamaya, Tonota, Tshesebe, Borolong, Masunga, Natale and Marapong).
Empowering volunteers to safeguard what these emblems represent being neutrality, humanity and protection ensures the strength and integrity of our humanitarian mission. The day was packed with inspiration, learning and a shared mission, reminding everyone the deep meaning behind the Red Cross emblem, a symbol of hope and protection for all. A huge thank you to every volunteer whose energy and dedication keep the spirit of the Red Cross alive in our communities. Together, we are making a difference!
