When giving an overview of the project launch earlier today, BRCS Secretary General & CEO Dr Kutlwano Mukokomani said the BRCS stood with Bakgatla during floods noting that the National Society distributed relief items and assisted in evacuations. He said in addition, the BRCS extended support to Linchwe CJSS, particularly learners with visual impairment, with educational material as a post-flood recovery measure.
In her keynote address, Kgatleng District Officer II Ms Thapelo Lesolame said the Clean-Up campaign is not just about clearing debris; it is about restoring the environment and rebuilding the spirit of our communities.
She further encouraged communities to utilize the Council's waste management services by registering for household waste collection and also ensure that homes are equipped with refuse bins to help protect the environment.
